Can someone give me ideas of what i can do to control my panic disorder and anxiety? |
I have been having severe panic attacks for about 8 years now and nothing is working no matter what.I have trouble going out in public,eating at restaurants,going to stores/malls,being alone by myself out of fear of a panic attack,going to school,traveling and it's really ruining my life and I feel that it's ruining my parents lives at times because I can't go anywhere with it and it's taking fun out of everything.I used to use self-injury as a way to cope with the anxiety but still that don't even work anymore.please help yah I've seen professional therapists.probably.......3 of them.one I still see,another one never got back to me after the first appointment and the other was just an evaluation I had overwhelming anxiety. It turned out to be a chemical they put in food called sucralose. And it is in a lot of stuff. From fitness water to tomato sauce. It sounds like you're afraid of being afraid! With panic/anxiety, just the fear of being anxious can trigger a panic attack. I know. As a fellow panic anxiety attack suffer, go see a psychiatrist. They have great meds which they can put you on, which will alliviate the panic attacks. have you tried getting profesional help?? we could tell you a lot of things but they may not work out, a dr who is trained to help people in your situation can prescribe you the right medications! meditation & yoga will help you. Yes you should do all of those things. Don't think of having a breakdown/panic/attack. It's not that bad compared to things other people have gotten. You can't die from panicking so ... smoke some weed. it will make you chill out. dont smoke too much tho. that will mess u up even worse. lol and if u dont wanna go down that road, just try meditating, (yeah, i know it sounds stu... i used to have sweaty hands 24/7 !!!!! :( i hate it. well i dont have sweaty hands all the time now i guess it decreases over the time as you grow up. But i remember when my bf tried to hold my ha... I think you should get a bracelet & yes most definitely you should inform someone about your condition because you never know what may happen & also with anxiety it can happen at anytime ma... General things that you can do is maintain a healthy diet, drink plenty of water and exercise at least three times a week. Try to avoid situations that cause you to be anxious, see if you can set u... don't give into the anxiety. you dont want to get worse do you? get out there and fight what your scared of little by little. then you can earn some money and be happy in social situations too...
