Social anxiety disorder.. help.. |
i was put on effexor xr 35mg a month ago. and it helped me quite a bit.. i went back to the doctor and it up the dosage to 75mg.. now im feeling more anxious then everr!.. is this normal because im switching mediccations and it take time for it to be effective?.. or i should talk to the doctor right away?.. That's a big jump in dosage. The same thing happened to a friend of mine. He talked to his Dr. and they decided to drop the dosage down to the previous level. I don't know why Dr's always try to push things so fast (If it was their own body I bet you they would take things a bit slower). Remember, it's all about YOU and how YOU feel don't be afraid to tell your doctor. You may be able to increase the dose in smaller increments so you won't have those nasty side effects. 75mg might be too much for you. talk to the doctor asap!! Suggest you contact your Doctor for his expert medical opinion. tell your doctor, it could be the dosage |
