Anyone know where I can get Dr. appt. (in Denver area) for someone with anxiety disorder?

Important .... Must see TODAY! --

You should ask your insurance for a list of providers they cover, get a referral from your general practitioner, or just look in the yellow pages.

However, I'd say the chances of you getting a same day appointment are slim. Furthermore, I fail to see the necessity in a same day appointment. Anxiety, just like any other mental health issue, will take time to work through and/or will take time to find out how it best responds to different medications, so it won't be "cured" in one day or anything.

If you or someone you know is going through a very strong anxiety attack today, and has not previously been to a mental health professional for help, I'm sure there are more urgent centers to go to, and if you can't get an appointment, you may want to ask the receptionist of one of the offices about advice of what exactly you should do.
contact the Medical Society in that area.............
Call you local doctor for a referral, or the county mental health.

If it were me, I'd check out the web site in your area, They give the background of the dr. what insurance thay take and what disorders they specialize in. That is my general rule to find someone new.

good luck
