I think I probably suffer from mental health problems like social anxiety disorder, depression and...? |
have very high levels of self-hatred and get very angry. What should I do, as I couldn't open up to a psychiatrist before and (probably due to not being open up) I didn't find it helped. I don't think I could go into hypnotherapy or where people could access my thoughts. Any other suggestions. I am really afraid to go to the doctor again, I rarely go, and tend to lose interest in prescribed medication (for non-mental health related things) so feel like a really ungrateful patient. Sorry for rambling. Hi Joy I think the other two gave good advice, but I would like to recommend something else in addition to their suggestions, which really helped me. Keep a journal and write in it every day. Keep it private and safe. Write everything down. I don't know why it should be, but the simple act of putting it down on paper is a kind of unburdening. And since you're confiding in nobody but yourself, you can be as open as you wish. What I am suggesting costs nothing, involves no medication, no other person and can do you no harm. Please give it a go. Take Care Oh and eat good food, get gentle exercise, sleep well, all that stuff you already know about... You need to see a psychiatrist who specialises in avoidant personality disorders. It really does work no matter how skeptical you might be to begin with. Antidepressants help a bit, they're not a miracle cure but they help you get yourself together a bit. hi matey why not try confiding in a friend and tell them how you fell. i know what it feels like to be depressed agrophobic stressed down suicidal the lot.. medication does nothing. its simply a cover up it doesn't stop you feeling down it just makes you numb... personally i found relief in playing guitar music. meeting friends trying new hobbies. and things try them matey and i hope you feel better soon pal. tc please go an find someone to talk too. self hatred and anger can be a nasty combination, try and get some help.. i wish you love and luck Hi i used to suffer from depression alot when i was younger and i did not like myself, but i do now. You can overcome this, sometimes its because of what has happened to a person in their life and the way others have treated you. read joyce meyer books the confidant woman and joyce meyers book approval addiction. its good to get hold of the some good books, because they can help you, overcoming depression by gilbert is brilliant, readers @constablerobinson.com this book will really help you. i am doing a psychology degree so am a bit aware of what is good and what is crap. You can overcome this try to get some counselling as well, some church,s do it free, don,t believe what others say about you either it only matters what God thinks and he thinks you are loveley. and chose you to be born even before the beginning of time. God does not make junk you are a valuable worthwhile person. take care and read the books they will help you overcome this. depression is horrible but you can win through and learn to love yourself as you should do. You probably have demons making you feel the way you do. Get Gary Spivey's books (World's greatest psychic.) He'll teach you how to get rid of these nasty demons. Good luck! Don't get on the mental health (or ill-health) trip at all. If you take the view that everybody gets anxious and stressed out (which is true) there is no need for all this **** and there is less baggage to go around. Yes, do it. The trick cyclists hate that. They have no power over independent minds. These bastards will grind you down. Get up in the morning and try to achieve one thing per day. If nobody is listening start a BLOG! |
