Anxiety Disorder?????????

What is this exactly ? Is it like when i go to the doctor and they draw blood or give an immunization that I feel super scared and dread it? Its not that I cant take the pain. In the contrary after I think about it i figure it'll feel ok. So i make myself think that but as soon as i see something like a syringe or hear something similar to where they keep the in (little bag) i feel weird.

Can this be anxiety disorder? if so, how can i treat it?

No! This is not anxiety disorder. If you had an anxiety disorder your symptoms would be far more severe. I used to suffer from "panic attacks" which is a form of anxiety disorder. And let me tell you, they are not pleasant at all. It almost feels as though you are having a heart attack or something. What you are experiencing is a normal anxiety about someone doing medical practices to you. Lets face it, It is not the norm for a needle to be inserted and blood drawn from the body. Your mind knows this and is just letting you know that it is concerned. Given time I think you will be alright. It may make you feel better to share your concerns with your doctor so can calm your fears. Good Luck!

No, that's a common problem many people have. I would gather you have a fear of needles. Many people have this, and some even pass out every time they are stuck. Best thing you can do is take someone with to talk to while you are getting stuck, and also turn your head away. It really helps.

I don't like getting shots either. Well I was only kinda nervous about ti before last year, but then i went in for a shot and had the worst soreness! The second I got suck I immediately felt this pain through out my arm. It was sore for a few days too. I've never had a shot like that!

no. anxiety disorder is when your afraid of everything and panic alot even after having alot of panic attacks. your just having a regular freak ut moment it will pass. next time take a xanax.
