Im just wondering has suffered with Anxiety/General Anxiety disorder?

I'm suffering from it and i can't seem to kick it! I really hope there is someone out there that can give me some word's of wisdom to snap me out of it, because i'm finding this life journey very hard! Hope someone can help me! Take care, Kelly!

Have your blood pressure checked. If it's High, talk to your Dr. about going on a med called an Angiotensin agonist - (I belive they're called ACT inhibitors) Common drug names are Diova, Lotensin and Cozaar - but Diovan is the strongest (and most expensive). It really works well in my case, though.

hi, yes yes yes i have suffered with anxiety since i was 19 i am not 43, went on medication when i was about 35......aside from taking medication (which truly helped me) you have to watch how you are thinking, your mind is a powerful thing, you have to try to talk positive to yourself, slow up your breathing and realize that it's just adrenaline shooting thru your body making you feel anxious, also i find when i find myself worrying to say STOP and think about how rational my fears are......it takes work.......you can get this program by lucinda bassett it is very good, google it.....also praying seems to help.......try to avoid caffeine, sugars......eat more protein.......get some exercise, sunshine, fresh air and drink lots of water........you will be ok, just remember it is just feelings and it can't hurt you although i know it feels like you are gonna die, you won't!!! i recommend meds, i take paxil but i heard lexapro, cymbalta and celexa are great too!!! your dr can give you some ativan too, just ask him/her and tell them how you are feeling!!! don't be ashamed 1 in 3 people are on medication for anxiety and/or depression!!! now breathe in and out slow, close your eyes and picture your heavenly angels and/or God surrounding you with love. xoxoxoxo

You are so young! Do you have a trusted counselor you could speak with? I would bet that there are environmental issues that are the primary reason for your anxiety. Stay away from drugs if you can.

yeah i am 14 and i've suffered with it for about 2 years. if you wanna email me, i can tell you from my experience how to really help lessen it.
