Generalized anxiety disorder (or GAD) is characterized by excessive, exaggerated anxiety and worry about everyday life events with no obvious reasons for worry. People with symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder tend to always expect disaster and can't stop worrying about health, money, family, work, or school. In people with GAD, the worry often is unrealistic or out of proportion for the situation. Daily life becomes a constant state of worry, fear, and dread. Eventually, the anxiety so dominates the person's thinking that it interferes with daily functioning, including work, school, social activities, and relationships.GAD affects the way a person thinks, but the anxiety can lead to physical symptoms, as well. Symptoms of GAD can include: Well first of all, you should probably get diagnosed by a psychiatrist or at least make an appointment with one. Many people have generalized anxiety disorder, myself included. I went and talked to a therapist for awhile & that helped a little bit & i also take medication for it. In the last year i've really improved a lot. You might also be feeling depressed BECAUSE of your anxiety. It takes a lot of energy to worry about everything and to be constantly nervous. Also anxiety causes stress and that takes a lot out of use as well. That's the only advice I have, hope it helped. Maybe you do feel enough anxiety in your life right now that you need t... my suggestion is to try some relaxation techniques. things like meditation, hot bubble baths, yoga etc. personally i smoke a pipe (tobacco of course) to relax and i can say it does wonders for me.... |
