Bipolar disorders and anxiety attacks?

I'm doing a project on these two disorders.

Can you explain what some basic disorders for anxiety attacks are
and how bipolar and anxiety attacks are alike and how they are different.
thanks.

and if you do get any information from another website please give me the information for my work sited/bibliography.

Bipolar is a mood disorder consisiting of two poles of mood....depression and mania. A person must have at least one episode of each to be diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Depression is more understood....mania not as much. Mania is a high energy episode that can be either euphoric (happy/hyper) or dysphoric (angry/raging). In both there are distorted perseptions that lead to reckless & impulsive behaviors/desisions. Also racing thoughts.

Anxiety is sorta a distorted perseption it itself. Generalized anxiety is just constant feeling like something bad is going to happen...sometimes can be a specific fear, often is just "something" bad is going to happen. Social anxiety is when you are around a lot of people you feel like people are watching you, and like you dont fit in and they know it and are talking about you or laughing at you behind your back. Thing with anxiety is even if you KNOW its not true, it feels completely real..

Anxiety attack is when those feeling come to a peak and you go into a complete panic over it. (like think how you might be in a panic if you knew someone had broke into your house and had a weapon and was going to hurt or kill you if they found you and you have no way to call for help or defend yourself......or like if you woke up buried alive....is like that but over the fear that is not completely rational)....can cause rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, even passing out.

Anxiety very often does accompany depression and bipolar. I know my social anxiety was most severe when depressed, and my GAD was most severe when manic.

as someone who suffers from both. depression and anxiety are interlink. depression causes anxiety. bipolar disorder is mood swings, up and down, very irritated, impulsive. Anxiety is more your body can't get the fight and flight response right. your a constant worrier. you have irrational fears. your heart races, you can't sit still. I hoped this helped. I would go into more detail but I'm starting to fall asleep.

anxiety is when you get these horrible panic attacks and you feel dizzy breathing is hard, and your Heart feels like it is going to pound out of your chest.anxiety and depressionn areo ften associated together. bi-polar disorder is when you have dramatic mood swings and depressionn is associated with this sickness too. bi polar disorder and anxiety can be together also.

if your wanting to know what an anxiety attack is like then its your heart pounds really hard and fast and its so hard to breath and you just feel like your gonna die. bipolar is just when people can snap and freak out at anything then go back to normal.

I have both and J G is the one who explained it the best!
