Is there anything i can do to overcome asthma?

Overcome or at least reduce symptoms.

Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease, kind of like an allergic reaction isolated in your lungs. People with asthma tend to also have atopy, meaning they have other allergic conditions. No amount of breathing exercises will change this fact. You can avoid things that trigger asthma attacks and that will help. A healthy diet is good to have in general, but you need proper maintenance medications.

The daily maintenance meds you get depends on how often you have attacks, how much you use your albuterol inhaler (ProAir, Proventil, Ventolin, etc), how often you wake up at night, and your peak flow meter readings.

Make sure to always have it with you, but do not rely solely on your fast acting inhaler to take care of your asthma. Please follow up with an asthma specialist. Don't rely on these forums.

I wish you the best.

are they allergy induced or exercise induced?
if it's allergy you can choose to get allergy shots or just take a benadryl.
if it's exercise induced then you can get an inhaler thats meant to be taken ahead of time to prevent wheezing. use your inhaler if you need to.
if it comes randomly, then you can try breathing exercises that help strengthen your lungs.

what I do is something I learned in band:
-exhale as much as possible
-inhale, filling your lungs COMPLETELY over a course of 16 seconds
-exhale COMPLETELY over a course of 16 seconds
-repeat step 2 and 3 for 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 3, and 1 second. (like fills lungs in 1 second, empty in 1 second)

Try yoga for different breathing technique exercises.
Move to a less polluted part of the country.
Move to a place that doesn't have trees that bear flowers (pollen)
Purify your body by eating more fruits and veg
