My 4 year old son was denied health insurance due to preexisting asthma ... any suggestions?

he has very mild asthma triggered by cold/virus and he's only been to the emergency room once during heavy fires in Los Angeles. he takes inhalers & singulair everyday.

Your son has a number of different options available to him.

Your best bet is to speak with a California independent health insurance agent. You will want to bring up specifically to the agent 1) HIPAA laws 2) The California Childrens Health Insurance Program 3) Can the agent work with multiple companies.

Here is some more information on pre-existing conditions and then specifically some information on California health insurance options:

So sorry to hear about ur lil one.. I'd go thru the county and state that your located at, but also you can ask the local hospital about this, I believe its called CHIP and they go on low income families I believe..
It don't mean your dirt poor but you may as well check in to it.. can't hurt.. Good luck

I've sent you some links to check out.. See if the Childern's Hospital will help you out, if your closer to one of them, that was my second home away from home as a baby and a young child they really know what they are doing!!

Try this one - http://healthplans.my-age.net - I personally have their health insurance.
As I know they can provide coverage for kids with preexisting condition.

Like in your situation,I would like to advise you have a look here.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

that's horrible! Find a new insurance company!

The climate, the weather changes and the elevation play into factor. Plus the plant life is different there and you might also be more allergic to those than the plants in NY. Hope that helps!...
