Panick attacks or asthma??????

i have panick attacks. how would i figure out if they might me triggered from asthma? or how do i reduce panic attacks

Dear Friend:

See a doctor first. Only he can tell you if it is asthma. Not anyone in the internet.

Panic attacks. Well, what is the triggering event? person? item?

I suggest you find some quiet time for yourself everyday. A place of zen, a time to do yoga/beathing exercise/relax your mind, just 10 min or more can keep your mind off the stress in your life. Take a class in yoga or qi gong.

Fear is an emotion to protect you. It can be redundant at times though. Ask yourself if your fear is rational. If it is the same thing all the time. Take action to calm your fears, don't let your fears control you. Keep a positive attitude in life.

I wish you good health and good luck.

Panic attacks make you feel like you can't get a deep breath, and your heart beats at a faster rate than usual.
You can count backwards from a hundred concentrating on the numbers rather than the attack that is taking place at the moment. You can also do bio feedback, which is very helpful. Sometimes, allergies are the cause of panick attacks, especially allergies to molds, chemicals or foods, or even a lot of stress can bring on an attack.
If you have asthma, you would probably know it from having difficulty breathing from a lot of the same things, or when you have a cold or bronchitis. A doctor or pulmonary specialist could check your breathing so you would know for sure if you have asthma. There are bronco-dilators that help with the treatment of asthma. Eliminating the allergenic sources also helps with both symptoms.
