Asthma & chest tightness?

Does your chest start to feel really tight and hurt, as if someone put weights on it, before and after an asthma attack?

That's what I'm experiencing and I'm wondering if it's normal.

My chest feels painfully tight right now, in fact. It's pretty normal for me, if you use your inhaler right now, it should help.

sometimes, but that can be a symptom of a heart attack too.....crushing weight on chest, pains in arm/neck. See a doc.
