Close friend or family with asthma?

If one of your close friends or family members suffers from severe asthma, does it affect you on some level too? How so?

It does, in a lot of ways. Most of my family has asthma, with me suffering the least of the four of us. It makes me work harder becuase I want to make sure that everyone else is comfortable and does not have a problem. It also costs us a lot of money because we have to pay to keep the air conditioning on for hot or humid days, or days when the pollen/allergen counts are high. Also, my boyfriend does sometimes have to go above and beyond to make sure that I am alright. We went for a bike ride once and when we got back home, he had to sit with me for an hour until my breathing was back to normal. Luckily, he is willing to take care of me and make sure that I am alright, and my family is all the same way. It makes us remember that we need eachother and keeps us close. Strange, but true in a way. I hope I helped, and best of luck to you!
