I dont mean to sound stupid but i heard smoking pot can help people with asthma is that true?

a few of my friends have asthma and they smoke but they said it opens up the air ways it that true or are thet just working on killing themselves?

They are deluding themselves

thats nonsense i discovered help for my asthma symptoms by accident when i was a child. i came inside breathing hard and needed some water. i was to short to reach the glasses or turn on the water, so i drank the black coffee left in my fathers cup. it tasted terrible, but my breathing felt relief minutes later. i've heard from others about how coffee gave them some relief

I have asthma.
It was so bad once I was in the hospital for 2 months...
Then I started smoking pot.
I seriously have not used my inhaler in over 6 months.
I feel like a new person.
Sure, its not legal...but if it makes my life easier, than who cares?

can help pain physical pain and other benfits to marijuana but alot of chemicals in marijuana more than cigarettes so it may make asthma worse.

Well, I don't think inhaling any kind of smoke into your lungs will HELP your lungs.

It certainly didn't help MY asthma.
