What are the risks of an 18 yr old smoking habit & has ASTHMA? |
I started smoking at the age of 17. It was just out of curiosity & to feel "cool" but by the time I hit senior year & 18 yrs of age it became a habit... I was just wondering if 18 yrs of age including having asthma can trigger my health? I know it sounds stupid but I just wanna hear your opinions The age has nothing to do with it. But smoking with asthma is Not A Good Thing. Been there, done that, and it definitely makes it worse. Plus you may be at even more risk from COPD than other smokers. If you don't want to stop the nicotine, try the nicotine replacement products like the Commit lozenges. Once you get used to it, it's the same long-term buzz as smoking, but without the lung damage. I used them for about two years before I finally stopped and the only downside was that I'd sometimes forget and chew the tablets (you're supposed to leave them in your mouth without chewing) and get heartburn. quit now!!! you are not as ingrained as some of us are!! you can quit and not get the COPD and total inability to handle breathing!! Glad you are asking this question. This is a good start in the right direction! well, yes it can start asthma. Stop smoking today. WHAT DAMAGE IS DONE IS DONE. wtf of course it will stop now ! |
