Did I have An Asthma Attack? |
On Friday I was walking back from the store carrying some groceries (not too heavy) as I do several times per week. Suddenly I felt real light-headed, a bit nauseous, and like I couldn't get air into my lungs. I was taking really deep breathes but I just felt like the air was not reaching my lungs as it should. I wound up having to squat down on the pavement and take slow deep breathes then walk VERY slowly the rest of the way home. After being home about 10 minutes I was fine. The whole experience was VERY scary as I felt like I really couldn't breathe. This sounds like a panic attack to me. I get them, they are so unexpected, you have no idea why you got it, or where it came from.
