Answer this if you have asthma! |
i have asthma and i was wandering what type and how bad it is? i have been hospitalized once in my life for asthma but ever since i have hardly had any problems. my pool is about 40ft' long and i can swim under water from one side to the other=80ft', can hold my breath for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, can run for a pretty good distance, and i used to skate board all the time. also in gym class im always active and when playing b-ball it kinda gets to me but if i use my inhalor im back to being fine. i guess i was just wandering if my asthma is bad or not? grade it from a 1 being not bad asthma at all, or 10 being super bad asthma. be honest this is a serious question. i have asthma it pretty much sucks!! Fcuk i fainted one time in 800 meters run and some other guy to. Oh god then 1 year later my aunt has it. She has been hospitalized 3 times. This last time, asthma stole her vision and the use of her hands =( It is terrible. Almost died. The asthma made her pass out and oxygen couln't get to her brain. It really depends on the person. You coukd go 10 years with no problems and then one day something just hits you. Kinda scary... so always be prepared and careful. i would rate asthma in general as a 8.5. You, for now, i would say a 4. I must say u handle it quite well. U shouldn't care how bad it is it's more about how u feel about it. As u age u might worry about allergies a bit, but hey if u deal with it the way u do ~NO PROBLEM~. Respect that u have it (inhaler and all ) and just relize yaa u have it but ur healthy. I really must say that I am strongly impressed with the attitude in which u deal with ur self. a 3 cos u needur inhalor in b-ball for you, i'd say 3 to 5.if any higher, a 6. some people get them constently. i've come to realize that it's also determined by how fit you are. if you get tired easily from running on top of that, if you have asthma then it's worse than if you're more fit. well usually. for me, i'd say that i was more athletic when i was younger and it reasulted in longer time in the pool with out loosing my breathe and i was able to run more. also, pollon season get's my asthma rising a little. when i was 2, my parents saw me turning blue and rushed me to the hospital, that's when they found that i had asthma. but anyway, if you stay in shape, your astnma shouldn't be too bad. |
