Asthma? How long does it last? |
I had asthma as a little kid until I was about 10 and then it went away now it seems like its coming back because everytime I am around cigarette smoke I cant breathe and wheeze ALOT! How long do people have asthma or is it a permanent disease? Thanks! I have had asthma too since I was a little kid. I start wheezing when it gets cold outside and its also exercise induced sometimes. Asthma can't be cured, but it can be controlled. Definitely try to stay away from smoke though, that can lead to more serious problems as well. Just always have an inhalar with you just in case! Actually Athma are of different types. Do any other members of ur family has same problem? If yes then your Asthma is Familial. Anyway Asthma may not be cured permanently but it is controlable probably for life long. But any factor that provoke Asthma may aggravate it anytime. The best way to get free of Asthma is to avoid triggering factors. What are the triggering factors? Many factors. From somke to mite. From Pollen to perfume. Take some medication and avooid culprit enviorenment. Asthma is permanate |
