Who should I see if I want to know if I have asthma? |
I think I have asthma. Of course, no one in my family will believe me. So, what kind of doctor should I see? OMG! Dont listen to the crazy man about TB!! Why dont you go rant somewhere else!! Anyway! Your family doctor can diagnose you!! If it's asthma, he will probably send you for Pulmonary Function Testing. Dont be scared it doesnt hurt a bit!! A corticosteroid and a rescue inhaler is what you'll get and you will feel ten times better!! Dont sit on the internet driving yourself crazy and trying to diagnose yourself! Only your doctor can help ya! Good luck! Asthma attacks can take a couple of forms. My asthma attacks are coughing attacks where I can't catch my breath. Do you have coughing, wheezing, chest tightness etc... If so a GP or even a nurse practitioner can help/diagnose you. |
