Do you have Asthma? ? |
What kind of medicine do you take? I just started taking advair and have not noticed any difference. :( I have had asthma all my life but it doesn't affect me as much anymore. I usually get a inhaler every year because I get nasty colds which turn into bronchi asthma and upper respiratory infections. It sucks. My neice has it bad and she takes that with steroids for her lungs it seems to work...I would suggest using it for at least a month then if you don't feel a difference talk to your doctor. sometimes it takes a little while to feel it working. Yes, I have had it almost all my life. :( (25 years old now) Now I am taking Xopenex HFA. It helps a little more than the last few I have tried. However I find my self having trouble breathing about 4-5 hours after I take it. I take Asmasal as a reliever and Clenil Modulite 250mcg as a Preventor. I take Proventil (Albuterol Sulfate) Personally, I liked it better when it was just Albuterol but they had to change it for enviromental reasons. If that deosn't work - I take a hit of Aerobid and that staightens things right out! Advair works really well for me, but it's not like Albuterol, it is not an instant medication. It builds up and takes a few weeks of daily use to work. |
