Did I have an asthma attack? Please read details....? |
The other day I walked up 4 flights of stairs to get to the library, which had me out of breath so I sat down on a chair and all of a sudden the shortness of breath got 10 times worse and I felt like I was going to faint and my heart was betting very rapidly. Sometimes, without the shortness of breath, my heart starts to beat very rapidly for about 30 seconds then it goes back to normal. What does this sound like? Normally with asthma you get wheazing and are unable to get air OUT. I would think it sounds like a circulatory issues. I would get it checked out by the doc. It does sound like some of the symptoms you have when you get an asthma attack, but you can't be certain. Maybe it could just be that you were very exhausted from walking up the stairs, such as the shortness of breath and rapid heart you get when you run for a long period of time. But just to be on the safe side I VERY much recommend you go to a doctor. Describe to him/her what you described here and get a check-up. Good Luck and i hope it's nothing serious!!! that happenes to me sometimes i wouldnt say it was an asthma attack because if u have an asthma attack u cant breathe |
