Is there anything i can try to stop my asthma from flaring up so often i take inhalers steroids antibiotics?

I'm sorry to be negative, but I've never found anything that stops it happening long-term. But I have a couple of ways to reduce the effects when it does happen - One is surprising: I do exercise until I'm puffing. I find that the coughing under stress opens my lungs a lot so when I am relaxed again I feel much better.

The other is breathing in the steam from a kettle (at a safe distance of course).

I've no idea if either of these has any medical basis, but they seem to work for me.
