When I drink Dr Pepper I get a slight Asthma attack why does this happen? |
Serious Answers please. I haven't drank any soda in two years and i started drinking it at work and it triggers my Asthma. AS A MOTHER OF A CHRONIC ASTHMATIC IT IS PROBABLY NOT THE DR. PEPPER ITSELF THAT IS TRIGGERING YOU. ALOT OF ASTHMATICS ARE TRIGGERED BY ACID REFLUX. CARBONATION IS THE NUMBER ONE DON'T FOR AN ASTHMATIC WITH REFLUX ALONG WITH SPICES, PICKLES, JUICES WITH ACSORBIC ACID AND OTHERS. I WOULD RECOMMEND NOT DRINKING ANYTHING WITH CARBONATION UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN A DR. THERE'S REALLY NO SUCH THING AS A "SLIGHT" ASTHMA ATTACK, I'M CONCERNED THAT THIS IS NOT REALLY ASTHMA WHICH IS IN FACT ANOTHER REASON TO SEE A DR. ASAP. GOOD LUCK. ITS THE BUBBLE IN THE SODA ROBBING OR STARVIG YOUR BODY OF OXYGEN ... Any breathing difficulty symptoms caused by consumption is classed as an Anaphylactic reaction, this type of reaction is extremely serious so basically don't ever drink Dr Pepper again. you could be severly allergic. When an allergy is "anaphylactic" it can cause tightness in the chest and shortness of breath. Check with your doctor. Probably triggered by gas from the carbonation. your probably allergic to one of the ingredients id go see a doc just to be safe yahoo answers would really miss you if you died xx |
