Is Decaf just as good as Reg. coffee for asthma?

I've heard/read many articles on how coffee/caffeine is beneficial in the alleviation of mild to moderate asthma symptoms.

I'm wondering if decaf would have any benefits as well?

Being that decaf isn't 100% caffeine free, and that coffee contains other chemicals aside from caffeine that can also be thought of as having mild stimulative effects.

Also I have anxiety/panic disorder, and I have to try to avoid caffeine at all costs.

Thanks.

I have tried this method with some success and I have found that decaf coffee does work in a pinch, as does tea.
