What state has the highest number of emergency room visits for asthma?

Somewhere in the SE United States. While doing a paramedic internship in Atlanta we went to a hospital that had one large room set aside for just asthma. It would start off with just 1 or 2 people in the morning and by the evening over 30 people sitting with their inhalors.

I work in the NW now and it isn't nearly as bad.

I would say tn is up there on the highest.. knoxville is one of the worst places in the us to live if u have asthma, I worked in a major medical center there, and we were in the top 10 of the worst for asthma patients, pollution and allergies makeing it the worst
