I had seizure(sharp pain from the heart) is it due to asthma or is it the beginning of a heart attack? |
the pain was from the heart and it's a sharp pain. had this pain for at least three times(from june 2006 till now april 2007) had a very bad flu for almost two weeks and the asthma could be due to the flu(had wheeze) Yes, it COULD and may be a sign of a potential heart attack or stroke. Note for any other bodily signs such as dizziness, blurred vision, impaired speech, etc. OR it may be a symptom called angina: Angina pectoris is chest pain due to ischemia (a lack of blood and hence oxygen supply) of the heart muscle, generally due to obstruction or spasm of the coronary arteries (the heart's blood vessels). from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/angina_pect... Source(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/angina_pect... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/heart_attac... Seizures are a vascular (blood vessel) event that happens in your brain, so you did not have a seizure. Heart attack usually has pain elsewhere than right in the heart - left arm, down your back. It could be a Stroke, same thing happened to me Take an aspirin and go to the doctor. You can never be too careful. What is we tell you you are ok and we are wrong? Get well soon! if there's weakness in your extremities, it could be a heart attack - you should see a doctor. seizure has nothing to do with viruses your muscles will hurt for a week...you'll get over it.. |
