My brother had bronchitis when he was 2 months old , can he develop asthma later in life?

Actually these two are not inter-related. One can develop asthma whether or not he had bronchitis. Asthma is hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract to certain allergens. It may be cold, dust, pollens, animal danders etc. Those who have food allergies may develop asthma. Bronchtis gets cured but asthma is usually a life long disease.

My son also got bronchitis during his 4 months but he does not have asthma...he is 10 years old now! But better for your brother to take care and not exposing him to dirty and dusty places.
