Asthma//Peak Flow Meter Question...? |
So, My asthma has been getting alot worse lately, andmy mom thinks I have bronchitis right now, but shes a nurse, so I would think she would know if there was a serious problem... I assume you know your yellow and red zones for yourself that you've determined the first time you used your peakflow meter. If you're in the red zone, or if you can't get your meter to move, I personally would head to the hospital to be evaluated. If I did that when I used my peak flow meter- I'd go get evaluated. Tell her you need to go to an ER. Better still have her listen to your lungs with a stethoscope. She will hear the wheezing and take you. |
