Have i got asthma or am i just un fit?

every time i run i get a burning feeling in the back of my throat making it harder to breathe i just assumed that it was because i was un fit but recently ive been exercising more often and the burning isn't getting any better it make it hard to exercise for a long time cuz i can start running for like 100m and it just burns and it never gets better until ive stopped and had a rest. have i got asthma or am i still just unfit.

If you just started, then yes, you probably are unfit. I'm going to guess that you're doing cardio (running, cycling, etc.) Try taking it a little bit easier on yourself and try doing runs in short bursts, i.e run 1 minute, walk 2 minutes.

From what you've mentioned about that burning feeling in the back of your throat, I've also noticed that I get the same thing partially. When you exercise, you breath heavier. Could just be the wind drying out your throat. Take a bottle of water with you next time and see how it goes. Just don't guzzle it, just enough to lubricate your mouth every once in a while.

I have asthma. It has never made me get a burning feeling in the back of my throat. Asthma constricts the bronchial tubes, making it hard to breathe. You wheeze, and will usually have a lot of mucous to cough out of your lungs. You will feel like you are breathing through a straw. You can't get enough oxygen. Sometimes, my bronchial tubes in the top part of my chest feel like they're burning. I'm not sure if maybe you just think that it is in your throat. Maybe you had better see a doctor. If it is asthma, it will need to be controlled. I am scared of asthma, and have came close to death from it. Asthma is a serious disease. It still kills people each year.

na dude you dont have asthma.i have asthma and like that dude said, its like breathing through a coffee straw. The harder you breath the tighter your chest gets.and during your running, you would just have to stop cuz the feeling is just overwhelming.I play baseball and asthma just holds me back so much.so i'm very sure you dont have asthma.i guess your just outta shape or something.but if that doesnt go away, you should see a doctor bro.

You would definitely know if you had asthma. It would feel like breathy through a coffee straw.
