Please help only if u have experienced bacterial vaginosis?

A few weeks ago I had bv, and was treated for it with that nasty tasting medicine, so me and my fiance discontinued sex while I was on it. As soon as I got off, I start using the bathroom a lot again, and the left side of my vulva and left labia was irritated, and then I thought I experienced a yeast infection. A lump appeard on my groin which I've had b4 3 years ago even when I wasn't sexually active. My fiance and I r clean. Anyway, during this problem, the itching and burning left, but the frequent urination stayed. come to find out, the medicine didn't get all of the bacteria out. So instead my college nurse has put me on a cream instead of the pills because of how sick they made me. She said that I had protein in my urine because of the bv. Has anyone ever had this bv b4? Looks like this is something I might have to live with, because this didn't start happening until my fiance & I started having sex. I was recommended rephresh. I just want to know ur stories & what u do for it

hopefully this is the last time I have to take medicine for this (even tho it's only the second time) but this frequent urination is getting on my nerves. I had no idea u can urinate a lot from a vaginal infection

i have a discharge problem with that whole deal the doc said to clean BUT dont clean to much it takes the good bacteria when you over clean and then your prone to infection......try a warm soapy wash after sex and some loose undies you will feel so much better oh and dont use a harsh soap just a light unsented if possible good luck IM me if you wanna talk or email

I think they neglected to tell you that you also have a bladder infection. Make it a rule of thumb to pee before you have sex. Many women who are suseptable to UTIs find that having sex with a full bladder causes irritation and then of course infection. having a UTIis an easy way to get a vaginal infection. It sounds to me like this may be what happend.
