Sometimes those infections are difficult to treat. Research suggests that taking probiotic supplements will help with chronic vaginal infections. Try culturelle or sustenex. There are others, but avoid the cheap ones because they are usually not as potent or effective.

I thought it was an STD, but that is not always the case. Soaps like dial should not be used because it makes it worse. Dove is what you should use in that area. Also, Douching can make it worse. If you are noticing a fishy odor DO NOT use a douche, it will make it worse. Of course you should be sure to bathe daily and keep yourself clean. If you sweat in that area due to excercise or being overweight make sure if it's bad that you wash up and keep the area clean. As ALWAYS see your doctor and ask what he/she recommends. I use to douche at least 4-5 times a week and now I only douche after my period. That's how MY doctor said I more than likely got it . I only got it once and that was about 3 yrs ago and I did everything I just posted and I haven't had one since.

you may have a PH imbalance. I don't use Lactacyd, PHCare or any other feminine wash out there... it doesn't make me clean, it gives me the exact opposite of what it promotes. I find washing my feminine area with vinegar and water more effective. In fact, what could be causing your condition are the anti-bacterial soaps. Our body needs our good bacteria. The anti-bacterial soap kills both the good and the bad. But the sad thing about it is that usually the bad bacteria profilerate faster than the good ones thus resulting in your condition. You have nothing to lose in a vinegar douche, you can use the white vinegar sold in the market.
