I keep getting bacterial vaginosis, can my fiance be the one giving it to me?

I am on birth control, we use condoms most of the time at times we don't. My boyfriend is uncircumsized. Recently I have noticed his penis is like chapped, dry, (some what yeasty but dried) , also there was an unusually odor. i have gotten bacterial vaginosis about five times since May 07. and its really getting me frustrated. last time i was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis (bv) was late march. so i took the medication (metronidazole) i finished my last dose on thurday april 3. I had sex two days later (sunday) he used protection. My doctor said my partner cant pass it back to me, and before sex my partner should wash under the foreskin. On wednesday i had unprotected sex, my fiance cleaned himself right before sex. Then 3 days later i noticed thick discharge and an odor. i know i have bv again. So now im really convinced my fiance is passing it back to me. i know its not an std, im sure of it i just got tested in March when they tested me for bv.

it can happen... men are the major carriers of yeast infections not just on the penis even in there mouths... you should have him tell his doctor of your recurrent conditions and let him get medication for it and refrain from sex until the meds are done

He could be the one giving you this condition.
If his penis appears to be dry and chapped, and has an odor, he possibly is giving it to you.

To be safe, get him into the doctor or a clinic to get tested for an STD, such as this one (Bacterial Vaginosis) and other ones.
He needs to get help fast, and you also should get tested the same to be safe.

your doctor is right in the fact that your partner cant pass the condiotion on as it is all to do with the Ph of tha vagina being out of balance.
though he cant pass it on he could be the cause of why you keep getting it as he may not be very clean if he keeps getting yeasty like substance down there. this getting inside you could alter your ph balance.
also a mans sperm can sometimes change the ph temperarily. in most cases this is just temporary but sometimes it doesnt right itself without medication.
i suggest if it keeps happening when you have unprotected sex then carry on using condoms.
also ask him to see the doctor about his yeast and odour as it is not just for his benefit but for yours aswell.
