Bacterial vaginosis symptoms?

hey guys so i'v researched BV and it sounds like i have it. i'm going to go to my docotor today. but can someone give me all the symptoms or is it just that it smells down there its itchy and you can get some like really foggy white discharge. thats whats happenin down there for me. should i know anything else? is this why having sex with my boyfriend has been hurting too?

any info helps.
