How can you get rid of the odor caused by bacterial vaginosis? |
I went to the doctor and was told i had bv. I got put on metronidazole and nothing has really changed. I know to stay away from yeasts, eat yogurt, and refrain from douching but im going crazy. I know i smell and its not that im not clean. i really need some advice i've heard from many different sources that douching is very bad for you. that it messes up your ph and can make things worse. Also, i want to stay away from deodorants and sprays as i've heard they too can make things worse First off, don't listen to a lot of the other posters. Comments suggesting deoderants, douches, and pantyliners are all things that could make the situation worse. I would recommend you to try natural treatment. Pantyliners work for me to cover the smell, NOT to get rid of Vaginosis. I know this from experience. I have had vaginoisis a couple of times. Drink alot of water to flush everything out. Eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. Natural Yoghurt on a tampon and up your cooter. Don't use the flavoured kind, Greek or European only, it doesn't have sugar in it. try vagisil. put deoderant use baking soda it obsorbs. try dushing or babby powder Im from the old school And I would still douching But with water only |
