Bacterial vaginosis? |
Does anyone know if bacterial vaginosis can be treated with azithromycin instead of flagyl? no flagyl ( metronidazole )or clindamycin are the only antibiotics used to treat bv Source(s): MA x 5 yrs @ ob/gyn office Yucky, Yucky, Yucky. I don't even want to know. flagyl is a nasty pill to have to swallow, ive never heard of that other drug, but from experience, flagly clears it right up for everyone, so i dunno . ask your doctor if you want another option, but ive asked before and he said no... I wanted to try something else because i hated the taste of that pill on my tongue, i had to smash it on a small piece of bread and swallow it like that .hahaha <3 eeeeeeeewwwwwww: flagyl is a nasty pill to have to swallow, ive never heard of that other drug, but from experience, flagly clears it right up for everyone, so i dunno . ask your doctor if you want another option, but ive asked before and he said no... Good luck with that :( take the flagyl and avoid sex for a while until it is cleared up. Otherwise, you and your partner will only be transferring it back and forth |
