Has anyone had any success with Biofeedback technology for any ailment? |
For things such as high blood pressure, bruxing (teeth clenching and grinding), stress, persistent headaches, hypertension, or anxiety? I have, but I have had much better success with energy work and accupuncture. Biofeedback had some success in managing migraine headache and tension headache. Don't know about anxiety or hypertension. For high BP, it would seem to depend on the cause. Actually no. For any of those symptoms I usually just get a massage from one of my friends. And not to be biast or anything, but I found that women give WAY better massages than men. At least in my experience. There is a guy in Edmonton who did biofeedback work with ADD kids and had great success in some cases. My Dad could control his blood pressure. Its like wiggling your ears from what I understand - the voluntary flexing of involuntary muscles - you just need to try stuff till it works and have a measure of efficacy - I tighten my scalp and my ears go back. kind of. |
