EEG Biofeedback for Autism any one try this before? |
I have a 4 year old son with PDD Autism and looking for any type of treament. ABA has the best numbers...most sucessful The first answer is a good one: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods based on positive reinforcement have shown to be very successful. I would caution you about "treatments" or "cures." Sadly, there are many scams out there for autism, so please make sure that any program that you use has published, peer-reviewed (reviewed by other professionals in the field) research that backs it up. I have not specifically heard of EEG Biofeedback, so I can't comment specifically on it. Here are some other resources about autism.
