Biofeedback and meditation: can it be used to increase intelligence/calmness/concentration?

what are ways biofeedback and meditation can be used to increase intelligence/calmness/concentr... what forms of meditation will help and what (non equipment) methods of biofeedback will help?

how do i use meditation to enhance those things: what kind of things do i think about while meditating?

I don't believe that biofeedback can actually increase your intelligence. However, I believe that meditation and biofeedback can help you focus more and BELIEVE that you are intelligent. By giving yourself these positive messages, you're more likely to act intelligently.

In terms of calmness and concentration, biofeedback and meditation can be very effective. Speak with a biofeedback professional to learn exactly how it works so you can get our specific questions answered.

Doing biofeedback without equipment involves being very aware of what's going on for your body. Are you tense or relaxed? Hot or cold? Muscles tight or loose? Breathing shallow or deep?

With meditation, you might start with visualizing yourself handling situations intelligently and calmly with an incredible ability to concentrate.

You can meditate throughout the day by just focusing inward on your thoughts. How are you speaking to yourself? Are you telling yourself that you are intelligent and finding evidence of that throughout your day? Are you telling yourself you are calm and focused and finding evidence of this?

You might look at BrainSync CD's as well. They offer a lot of meditation CD's that can help get you started.
