Has anyone had any experiences with biofeedback for attention deficit? I?
No, sorry Cindy, just 41 years with ADHD and no one's killed me yet! I had a friend in grad school who was very into bio-feedback, it teaches you to FEEL what your alpha and beta waves feel like, so you can more easily get to that state on your own. I am much more familiar with the meds (yuck I know) and concentration/focus techniques. Although honesty, they don't always work! We simply have a neurological difference, not disorder, and soon in the next DSM (list of mental disorders) I've heard they plan to change ADHD from a disorder to a neurological brain difference, which they've known for some time. Good luck to you and I hope you report back! Check out "Answers to Distraction" and read the POSITIVE characteristics of ADHD, I loved that book..
