Hi! My question is two fold. I have panic disorder and my psychiatrist recommended that I use a biofeedback machine to learn to truly relax myself. First, has anyone ever tried this and how did it work for them? Second, does anyone know where I can find a cheap one that still works great? I'm a college student without a whole lot of money to spare :)
thanks Hi,
See the link below for two inexpensive biofeedback devices ($60 and $130). I can't say how well these work, but you can easily spend over a thousand dollars for more sophisticated models. Also you should try aerobic exercise, meditation, and stretching exercises like yoga or tai chi to help manage panic disorder, but you probably already knew that. Good luck! What the frawp is a biofeedback machine and why has my therapist never mentioned that to me?
Drugs, I don't understand. But a machine that can help you...wow. I know exactly what me and my therapist are gonna talk about tomorrow. |
