Anyone take Lamictal for Bipolar Disorder? Does it work for you?

Anyone take Lamictal for Bipolar Disorder? Does it work for you?

You've now hit two of my three current meds in your mass of questions. Lamictal is the first and so far only mood stablizer I have tried and it works well for me, no side effects, even. It's becoming one of the most popularly prescribed mood stablizers because it's less detrimental than things like lithium.
I have A.D.D. not BP. Sometimes I feel like I am though.
It had for awhile, now I'm allergic to more things than before. I keep telling doctors I need help with learning difficulties, but, to them, it's much easier to just supply an antidepressant than to deal with the real issues. Not saying some don't have depression of different sorts, but what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. Who knows? It might do its job for you and that's great. I hope things do turn in your favor.
I do take Lamictal and I don't notice an effect on me.

My doctor likes me to stay on it though.
