Is it possible to avoidant personality disorder, social anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression and ADD?



Honestly, I feel like I have all of these issues and I understand many are intertwined and likely caused by others. I'm seeing a psychologist tomorrow for the first time in my life. Should I just straight out tell them I think I have all these problems or let them ask the questions?

If you are worried about all of these things, then the most likely diagnosis is an anxiety disorder of some kind, such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Anxiety and Depression frequently overlap.

Tell the doctor (psychologist) about your symptoms meaning tell them you are worried about them. Let them do the diagnosing-that is what they are trained to do. They should ask specific questions to help them rule in/out a diagnosis.

Good luck and give yourself credit for seeking help.
By all means let them know that you have looked into those and they remind you of yourself. They will not just take your word for it but it could give them an idea of what to ask you and where to start.

Be totally honest with them and let them know that you feel this way. You're paying good money to see them so to get the best from them - spill it all and go from there.
You could discuss these with your Dr. but I know for me I get tired of the different labels and diagnoses. I feel as long as your Dr. listens and is sincere in your treatment that is ultimately what matters and will get you feeling better. I hope you are feeling better soon~
many Drs, Psy., Therapists, would rather have you tell them your what your symptoms are, not what you think you have-BP, PD, SA, D, and ADD. if they tell you differently that is the beginning of you not trusting him/her. there are reasons why people see others for an evaluation. Dont worry about having a title in your 'jacket' your the brave one for seeking help, many think they have the answers to their problems, but end up with more.
Tell them how you feel and what you might think the problem is and why. That way they can see where you are coming from and give more help. I don't know if there is really any way to avoid these problems. Lots of times it is something that runs in the family, as long as you get it treated it can only get better though. Remember you are not alone though. Issue like this are in my family also. Depression and anxiety run in my family. I used to have major issues with it to the point of where I started self mutilating and one day accidently did it so bad I almost died of was going into shock.My parents never believed people could have mental health issues and that I could just get over it, but that isn't how it works. So I never got the help I needed until it was almost too late. That is why it is so importnant to get these things treated early, so things like that can be prevented. I am glad you are helping yourself and seeing someone, just remember if you don't like that person you talk to, try another person, and continue to look until you find someone you feel very comfortable talking to, that way you can get the best help out of it.
