Do you think I have bipolar disorder?



i have major mood swings, normally in school, i am very hyper and happy and giddy, but then if something even a little bit bad happens, i get sad and mad and moody. i also tend to be a lot more moody at home. sometimes I have to miss a day of school to spend the day with my mom because i feel so lonely. some nights, but not too often, i get really depressed and cry really hard for hours, and think about suicide. those times don't happen too often, but they do happen, and i just feel horrible then. to most people i appear to be happy and hyper all the time, only my close friends know how depressed and irritated I can get. i really have no idea if i should see a phycologist, or if it is just normal adolecsence stuff. thanks!

You may, but it is important to get it properly diagnosed first time, so see a doctor ASAP. Therapy may help, and take a vitamin B complex, and 4 fish oil supplements, daily. Eat healthily, keep occupied, and work up slowly to 30 - 60 mins of daily exercise, preferably in sunlight. You are really having some hormonal thing. You should go see your psychiatrist right now!
You may be bipolar or depressed. You should see your doctor asap. The feelings you are describing are serious and will not go away by themselves. Call your doc tomorrow. You don't have to live like that.
how old are you because if you are older you probably do have bipolar. If you are young you could out grow it. i would se a phycologist.

Talking to someone (an outside resource like a counselor) who doesnt know you is really a good start. Its always a good idea to talk to someone who will have an un-biased opinion. And just remember that even if you Do have bi-polar dissorder doesnt make you any less of a person.
