Plz. Read... Do I have bipolar disorder?

I recently did a semester of college, but I couldn't finish, think I was stressed out. I was the smartest kid in class. I would constantly correct people with the right answer. And it was to the point were I would say something so intelligentlly when i corrected them, they would resent me. I would make people look so stupid. One day the instructor pulled me to the side, and said are you feeling alright. I said I was stressed out. He told me people were coming up to him saying that they don't like your attitude. I went to go see a psychiartist, and she gave me Lithium for 6 months.
What are your thoughts??
Are all people really smart who have bipolar?
Because ideas usually would just pop out of my head, and I could retain alot of information?

Narcissistic PD is an additional diagnosis worth considering.
I doubt it. That happens to me too. event though I might have it for other reasons. I am constantly correcting people and making others look dumb. But I feel stressed with reasons other than being smart and correcting others. Like, school drama, boy trouble, and unstable family relationships.
possibly Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
