Where can I find a book about bipolar disorder in layman's terms? |
Where can I find a book about bipolar disorder in layman's terms? There is an excellent 14 page information sheet that will answer almost every question you need to ask on Bi-Polar disorder. Contact www.mentalhealth.asn.au, or email mha@mentalhealth.asn.au. I have only today given a copy to a neighbour who is a carer of his wife with Bi-polar, and depression. He stated that it was excellent, tho I knew that already. I say this to encourage you. There are other options and books, yet this is free, and in plain language. Take care and be adventuress. This isn't a book, but this website might help... www.webmd.com There is a thing called 'Bipolar for Dummies' Check it out on about.com its really cool http://bipolar.about.com/b/a/210304.htm... you could check borders or amazon.com. good luck get the book "the boy who couldn't stop washing his hands" my wife has ocd/bipolar and they told her to read that I read a good book about ten years ago called Prisoner of the Mind. It was written by a lady that realized she was going crazy. |
