Bipolar is characterized with depression alternating with mania or hypomania. So some symptoms overlap with the depression diagnosis. People in the midst of depression sometimes withdrawl from others, just want to be alone. Anger and irritability can be symptoms of depression (most commonly in men, but also in women). |
