anyhow I don't think Y!Answers can help that much. try a specialist... I'm sure talking a psychologist will help you overcome your depressive episodes.
wish you well!

No, I think therapy and medication is the only way to control the mania and the depression.

The Word of God and His Holy Spirit is the answer to all of life's troubles. There is help about anything for anyone. Go to a Pastor that teaches the Word (The Bible) and let him counsel you. You will see a difference in your attitude when you believe and apply it. All things take time and can't be rushed. You don't have to take meds. Jesus said He came for the lost and sick, not the well and self righteous (holier than thou) people. read Matthew 17:14-18 and see how Jesus cured the boy that was a lunatic and had seizures.
We serve a risen Savior who is in the midst of us today! He knows our needs because He became human, suffered, bled and died. He didn't stay in the grave but got up from the tomb to intercede for us. Try Him and see for yourself. Jesus can fix anything because He loves us!
