Can a person with bipolar disorder still get a security clearance? |
I recently got diagnosed with bipolar and I work in the aerospace/defense industry. I must get a security clearance at the top secret level. What is the chance of it getting rejected assuming I am honest during my interview/polygraph? Not sure, but I do know that if you're caught lying, you'll be bounced and the repercussions might be greater. I know a woman who told me her friend got a job at Boeing even though s/he told them before hand about the bipolar disorder. The most important thing is that it was under control. Report It I know someone that has a high security clearance recently diagnosed with adult ADD. what ? |
