Hello....i have bipolar disorder ...i need help? |
did you have it before?? what can i do ?? i am loosing interest in life ...i am not having any joy...i also have alternate periods of happiness....i am trying to watch my mood ...even when i have the depression episodes i try to be cool and take it easy and be happy...but hopelessly i feel that there is something restricting my happiness ...i also have reduced concentration and i keep on having bad thoughts....help Are you unmedicated? Are you sure it's bipolar? Have you been treated by anyone? Are you seeing a therapist? You need to make sure these answers are yes before you jump to any conclusions. I have had bi-polar for 14 years. It's never bothered me. It only seems to bother other people--especially psychiatrists. They've locked me up! In the UK medication is used to stabilise mood--Lithium and/or Sodium Valporate. And anti-psychotics can also be used. The theory is that once moods have been stabilised then you can get on with the business of sorting out the rest of your life. What options are available to you where you are? |
