I am very familiar with this disorder as it runs in my family. My grandfather had it. Many(7 to be exact) of his descendants also have it. My grandfather lived before they knew anything about this disorder. However, doctors have concluded from my grandfather's pattern of behavior that he was a classic Bipolar. I don't think the actual disorder is hereditary but I think if it is in your family you are more prone (genetically) to have psychological problems like depression, anxiety, etc. I am fairly certain there is a connection from what I have seen. pay no attention to the first person that responded, they have no idea, yes it is hereditary, my father has it,my son has it and my 4 year old daughter has it, and i doubt my daughter woke up one day and decided she wanted to be like her pa-pa and her brother, hey "blondech",can my daughter control her actions or her mental illness? Yes, like schizophrenia. Ignore the idiot above me. No,you control your actions |
